Today we left Lake Como and drove to Milan to catch the train.  Pretty cool train station.  

We took the train from there up into the Alps,

to the little town of Zermatt,

and its goats…

The next two pictures are the view from our balcony and our bedroom window (Jason did a pretty amazing job on all our lodging for this trip!). 

The green is amazing and I love all the fields thick with wildflowers. 


The Matterhorn itself isn’t too bad either! Here’s a view from our hike up the hill a little ways.
