Paddleboarding is always fun

We’ve always looked for places we can do stand up paddleboarding when we’re on vacation, so of course with a beautiful backdrop like the “pre Alps” (we read that here) we felt it needed to happen here on Lake Como.  Jason found a place in Bellagio, so we took advantage of our trusty ferry again and headed over to Pescally Bay on the east side of Bellagio to rent our boards.

Of course there were more paths and stairs to get to the other side of the peninsula.

It’s okay though because I love those paths and steps. Plus, if it wasn’t for all the eating, all these steps would be making us super fit!

…as would the paddleboarding!

Then we rode the ferry home to Menaggio,

to our apartment by the bell tower.
And finally, we finished our day off with some “crazy golf,” as its called here,

and a final gelato run.

  1. All those steps and hills allow you to fully indulge in the Italian pasta, gelato, wine….

  2. Love seeing you all in the pics. What do old people who can’t climb stairs do in these cities?
