No, really, it did! We were at the Colosseum about to head over to the Forum, when it started raining. And not just kind of raining, but full on dumping of huge drops of water. It was about 90 degrees out, so the rain felt wonderful and helped to cool it off. None of that is funny though.
The funny thing that happened has to do with this…

Right before we left on our trip, Spencer dyed his hair blue for something fun and different to do while in Europe. As we stood there in the downpour listening to the guide of our little 8 person tour group, I turned to look at Spencer and just about lost it. He was listening intently while rivulets of blue trickled down in various streams around his head. It was all I could do to keep a straight face as I listened to our guide who kept on talking as though everything was normal.
Anyway, the sun came out and we headed on to the walking tour. There was sooo much to see!

As you can see by our smiling faces in this picture with our guide at the end of the tour, we had a good day. And the blue came off Spencer’s face; although his hair is slowly turning from blue to green.

We showed a picture of Spencer’s hair to Andy Hamilton (who led singing sometimes at Shasta Way CC) and he said his was the same color…and often was green, too. Glad you are having fun.
