After our typical morning café, we rode the funicular,
then walked the rest of the way past lovely flowers

on up to Castel de Montjuic.
I thought the flowers on the cannons was a fun touch.
Next we had a wonderful lunch near our apartment before heading out to the beach and our first close up of the Mediterranean Sea.
Check out how Spencer matched his hair to the color of the sea!
And Jacob always travels with a frisbee.

And finally more cool sculptures and architecture as we headed home to play cards and rest for a bit before going to eat dinner and watch the Euros tonight – Spain v Turkey.

Thanks so much for your pictures and comments!

What a delightful day. No flowers on the cannons when we were there. It’s a good addition. And, yes, I like your hair color, Spencer. >

When we were there, the gun had no flowers but it was fun seeing and remembering the big fort. Did you look at the Olympic track there (and Nadal’s footprint)?

Wow. finally had time to look at your blog. It is really the trip of a lifetime! Love seeing where you have been. You all look so rested! Must be all that walking. Lol . Your story about the thieves reminded me of living in the Philippines. We had to be watchful all the time we were off base. Keep having fun!!
