Figuring out the metro tickets we needed was a bit of an adventure, but we did it!
Then we successfully navigated a number of hallway/tunnels, escalators, and moving ramps to get to the train that would take us to our apartment near the Eiffel Tower.

Because we only have 24 hours here, we chose location over size of accommodations. We had to laugh, though, when we saw the boys’ beds…

Luckily we’ve walked over 10 miles today, so I think they’ll sleep great no matter what! We’ve seen the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, had wine and cheese on the Champs-Élysées, stopped for quiches at our neighborhood cafe, enjoyed a macaron at the boulangerie, and saw so many amazing buildings.

Great pics of Paris. Hey, now that you’ve conquered getting ” les billets” in Paris, you’re probably good to go for all the other cities!
